Well, after a quiet and rejection-full July, this past week has been... everything.
I was offered representation for my novel!!
Which means, I now have a literary agent that facilitates the sale of my book to a publishing house! It's the first step in a long list of items that need to happen before your book can be traditionally published (meaning, not self-published).
My wonderful agent's name is Erin Niumata and she is an agent at Folio Literary Management or Folio Lit! I linked their website because it's beautiful and amazing, and I want to pee myself I'm so excited. I won't. But I want to.
So, what happens now? Well, Erin sent over some edits for me to complete on my manuscript, and I am furiously working on those! Next, Erin sends my baby out to publishing houses and we hope and pray and wait for one of them to love it as much as we do!
Scary and exciting stuff. I'll think about that tomorrow, Scarlett.
I wanted to keep everyone updated, and I will continue to update you all on everything that comes next! I am eternally grateful for all of the support everyone has shown me.
Ok, I'm going to try and calm down now.
