Coming to the East coast of Canada in June can be hit or miss on the weather front.
Whenever you tell people that you’re driving from Texas to Canada, the overwhelming reaction tends to be eye bulges and disbelief.

This past weekend, I was #blessed enough to go to CABO WABO!
I personally think the Texas summers are an insult. I might have even panicked a little bit this weekend when the temperature reached high eighties, agh! BUT, I know a lot of you are smiling wide, stretching your arms up toward that bright blue sky, dusting off last years shorts, and welcoming the warmer days to come.
This past weekend, Jimmy and I packed up our bags and headed to Colorado to meet up with friends and family.
Where did we go? To beautiful Breckenridge, CO.
Two Fridays ago on November 13th, Jimmy and I walked into DFW airport ready for an adventure. We had meticulously planned our trip down to each day. Museum passes were bought, hotels booked, trains and planes ready to go. We found our gate and decided to get something to eat before we boarded.
I've been a tad absent this past week from the outlet that is my blog. I apologize for that to you, whomever enjoys reading this, and to myself, for not taking enough breaks to put my thoughts on paper (keyboard).
This past Friday I loaded up our Honda Fit while I waited for Jimmy to get home from work. It had been a long week and I was excited to head to The Woodlands to spend time with mom, dad, Kase, and Eric for Dad's 58th birthday.
