Over Labor Day weekend, Jimmy and I got the heck outta Texas and flew straight to one of our favorite places: Colorado.
It’s been a long standing “joke” of mine to describe myself as “Texan-Canadian.”
I have a confession to make.
Welp, I am officially traveled out. (For this month, anyway)
May, June, and July were and are busy travel months for me.
Coming to the East coast of Canada in June can be hit or miss on the weather front.
Whenever you tell people that you’re driving from Texas to Canada, the overwhelming reaction tends to be eye bulges and disbelief.
Does anyone else feel like the older we get birthdays become sort of anti-climactic?
This past weekend, I was #blessed enough to go to CABO WABO!
I personally think the Texas summers are an insult. I might have even panicked a little bit this weekend when the temperature reached high eighties, agh! BUT, I know a lot of you are smiling wide, stretching your arms up toward that bright blue sky, dusting off last years shorts, and welcoming the warmer days to come.
